Looking at these drawings from 2013, I can see my previous self struggling with questions of composition, form and type. But there is a life here in these raw sketches that charms (which I can only see now with time.) It’s good to draw even drawings that don’t live up to your expectations, as they teach you what’s possible and help you develop skill and style.
And also, they help you remember how to make delicious food.
